Eating Out
Dining out in North Wales is outstanding. With a huge variety of fresh, high quality local ingredients, aqnd with world class
restraunts, you can be assured of a great meal where ever you are in North Wales!
Just happened to be driving past the Town Hall this afternoon and a parking space immediately outside NINETEEN caught my eye! "What an
opportunity.", I said to the wife! So in we went for our usual cappuccino, filter coffee and a toasted teacake.
After deciding on regular size cups, and chocolate instead of cinnamon on the cappuccino, we sat back in the little tub chairs by the window.
Drinks came. No problems. Cappuccino finished, coffee half gone when the TTC turned up. TTC lukewarm, butter chilled and difficult (nay
impossible) to spread and the tea cake probably one of the cheapest and smallest that one could buy! (A lesson could be learnt from Forte's who
have the best tea cakes in town). Total Bill £4.75 plus tip - hence no change from a fiver.
The place was not busy only 2 people having come in whilst we were there, so no obvious excuse. Top (rear) floor had a sign saying "closed for
cleaning" which I suppose is mandatory at 3.30 in the afternoon, or probably to keep all the clients in the easy to reach area at the front of
the shop.
Sorry, two people not impressed, me and the Misses. Wish we had carried on to Kava which at £3.20 is much better value for the same items. And
with some better music!
